Brand new dental office in North Vancouver, Axiom Dental is looking for a motivated Certified Dental Assistant.

Minimum 1 year of experience

Familiar with general Dentistry procedures such as RCT Xrays, iTero Scanning, crown and bridge procedures.

Familiarity with front desk duties is a plus but not necessary.

Dental software used is Curve Dental. Familiarity with this program would be a plus but not necessary.

Ability to work independently.

Our office is conveniently on Mountain Highway in North Vancouver, Right off Highway 1. Parking will be provided.

Office Hours:

Tues: 9 AM - 5 PM

Wednesday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Thursday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 3:30 PM

Saturdays are absolutely necessary for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance - Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Patient Care & Education - Greet and prepare patients for treatment, explain procedures, and provide post-care instructions. Assist with writing charts.
• Sterilization & Infection Control - Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols.
• Taking X-Rays & Impressions - Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions (iTero) as directed by the dentist, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Administrative Support - Help with scheduling, updating patient records, and managing inventory of dental supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
