Our office in Scarborough is looking for skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff. Candidate must have minimum of one 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols for infection control and patient safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:
