We are currently seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Level II Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with at least 2 years of dental experience for our FLAGSHIP location in Scarborough.

Responsibilities:

• Full Spectrum of Dental Procedures: An opportunity to assist at a high level in a boutique general practice environment on all aspects of dentistry including but not limited to meticulously restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, surgical extractions, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, invisalign, root canal therapy etc
• Image Acquisition: Proficiency in digital x-rays (HARP Certified) and 3D intraoral scanning (iTero)
• Build Trusting Relationships: Establish strong connections with patients by listening to their needs, explaining treatment options, and providing compassionate care
• Educate and Empower: Take the time to educate and reinforce discussions with patients on their oral health and providing post-operative care instructions
• Innovate and Learn: Stay at the forefront of dentistry by embracing new techniques and technologies, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible
• Manage Dental Records: Assist in the documentation of clinical findings and treatment planning in the practice management software (Open Dental)
• Reprocessing and Sterilization: Perform the highest standards of sterilization and exceptional IPAC standards
• Daily Operations: Manage the flow of office, time management and multitask in a fast paced environment
• Laboratory: Learn 3D printing and fabrication of whitening trays (when required)

Qualifications:

• Clinical Excellence: Ability to perform high level chairside assisting, detailed oriented and has a strong understanding of comprehensive care in all aspects of dentistry
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Passion for Dentistry: Work alongside clinicians providing excellence in dentistry and who truly believes in providing the best for our patients
• Compassionate Care: Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to connect with patients while providing incredible customer service
• Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential for success.
• Continuous Learner: Stay hungry for knowledge, eager to attend continuing education courses and workshops.
• Technology: Proficiency with technology, computers and typing.
• Language: Chinese or Tagalog speaking is an asset but not necessary.
• Must be available some evenings + Saturdays when needed
