We are a dental practice in Picton, ON looking for a

Certified Dental Assistant (II)

.

Picton Dental Centre provides needle-less dentistry, CBCT scans, same-day ceramic crowns, IV sedation, and clear aligners to the residents of Prince Edward County.

Our ideal candidate is reliable and has previous experience as a CDA Level II.

Some responsibilities

will include, but are not limited to:

Setting up and preparing dental operating rooms.

Following up with patients about outstanding treatment, laboratories about cases, and referrals to specialists

Genuinely interacting with patients to ease their anxiety or fear

Educating patients about their treatment and scheduling accordingly

Chair-side assisting and charting

Taking digital radiography, intra-oral photos, and extra-oral photos

Taking down and preparing operatory for cleaning and disinfection

Ensuring all instruments and equipment are in working condition

Monitoring dental supply inventory on a daily basis

Pouring & separating models

Requirements

:

Successful completion of Level II Dental Assistant from an accredited college

Willingness to learn

Experience with Dentrix is an asset

Must be available to work

Monday

to

Thursday 8:00-3:00

Three-day weekends; 1-hour lunch
