We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant to join our pediatric dentistry practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent care to our young patients. Responsibilities:
Assist pediatric dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
Take and develop dental x-rays (HARP certified) and maintain patient records.
Educate patients and parents on proper dental hygiene techniques.
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as necessary.
Requirements:
Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program.
Level II certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
