Summary of This Role



The purpose of the position is to certify new products and integrations according to Card Associations rules and compliance

What Part Will You Play?



Provide technical support to the product group and merchants on new products and integrations. Attend walkthroughs of solutions and provide technical feedback and guidance to the product group. Prepare customized POS test scripts for each solution. Generate Test Scripts and verify results from this test execution. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for new certifications. Assist external developers in fixing variances. Provide training and create documentation as required to all business units for certified solutions. Perform pilot monitoring and analysis prior to rollout of certified solutions. Provide status reporting to the manager as required. Provide technical advice, support and guidance to developers and Product Team. Develop and manage relationships with POS developers, third party processors, Project Managers, Sales and other business areas. Coordinate testing with technicians from partner companies to implement quality assurance procedures before actual deployment of the POS system, and to continue testing procedures during the system in use. Test and analyze POS systems with test plans, test kits and test cards, execute tests on POS systems against compliance from the payment requirements of Master Card, Visa Card, Debit Card, American Express, Discover other Card and Credit card companies. Duplicate the scenario during the test execution phase; analyze, investigate, and report individual or specific defects to software developers. Analyze situations that may create future problems or operations issues and make appropriate recommendations. Other projects or tasks, as needed. Remote position, but must be based in the GTA for easy access to Toronto business locations.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?



College degree in Business, Administration, IT or related field. 2-5 years experience in a similar role. Bilingual (French / English) is required Ability to follow all company policies and procedures as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure consistency. Ability to follow, investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented. Excellent communication and writing skills to communicate clear specifications and reports to internal and external resources and manage client's expectations. Tandem and Base-24 knowledge. Focus on detail, problem-solving and investigation skills required. Knowledge of Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc) and Interac operation rules and regulations. Ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity under time constraints. Willingness to take ownership for own work to continuously improve performance.

Offrir un soutien technique a l'equipe de produit et aux marchands concernant les nouveaux produits et nouvelles integrations Assister aux presentations et partager ses commentaires et conseils techniques avec l'equipe Preparer des scripts POS personnalises pour chaque solution Generer des tests de scripts et verifier les resultats tout au long du processus, soit du test a l'execution Agir en tant qu'expert en la matiere pour toutes les nouvelles certifications Aider les developpeurs externes a corriger les ecarts et variations Offrir des formations et creer la documentation necessaire a toutes les unites commerciales pour les solutions certifiees Effectuer une veille, ainsi qu'une analyse avant le deploiement des solutions certifiees Fournir des rapports d'etats au gestionnaire au besoin Developper et gerer les relations avec les developpeurs POS, les processeurs tiers, les gestionnaires de projet, l'equipe des ventes et toute autre domaine d'activite connexe Coordonner les tests avec les techniciens des entreprises partenaires pour mettre en oeuvre des procedures d'assurance qualite avant le deploiement reel du systeme POS et continuer les procedures en lien avec les tests pendant l'utilisation du systeme Tester et analyser les systemes POS avec plans de tests, des kits de tests et des cartes tests Executer des tests sur les systemes POS en lien avec les exigences de paiement de Mastercard, Visa, carte debit, American Express, etc. Copier ce scenario lors de la phase d'execution des tests: analyser, enqueter et signaler des defauts individuels ou specifiques aux developpeurs logiciels Analyser les situations susceptibles de creer des problemes dans le futur ou des problemes d'exploitation et offrir des recommandations en consequence

Qualifications requises



Baccalaureat en administration des affaires, en informatique ou tout autre domaine pertinent Minimum de deux annees d'experience dans un role similaire Bilinguisme (francais/anglais) sera considere comme un grand atout Capacite a suivre toutes les politiques et procedures de l'entreprise et du departement pour assurer une coherence en toute circonstance Capacite a suivre, enqueter et evaluer les problemes pour s'assurer qu'une bonne solution soit mise en place Excellentes competences de communication et de redaction de maniere a communiquer des specifications et des rapports clairs et precis aux ressources internes et externes tout en respectant les attentes des clients Connaissance de Tandem et Base-24 Minutie, bonne competence en resolution de problemes et bonne competence d'investigation Connaissance des cartes de credit (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc.) et des reglements d'exploitation propre a Interac Capacite a gerer plusieurs activites et taches complexes a la fois sous des contraintes de temps Volonte de s' approprier son travail pour constamment ameliorer ses performances
