Job Description

Sunshine ABA Services delivers ABA therapy to children who possess a wide range of cognitive and developmental needs. Therapists will be delivering ABA/ IBI therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and reports directly to the senior therapist or clinical director in charge of programming.

Sunshine ABA Services is currently looking for an Instructor Therapist to take on centre based clients in our centre located at Dundas and Dixie. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full time.



We are specifically looking for coverage on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.



ABA therapy includes delivering programming relating to communication, compliance, motor skills, executive functioning, implementing behaviour protocols, keeping sensory needs in mind, teaching daily life skills such as toileting, eating, dressing plus much more

Qualifications:

1) Diploma or degree in behavioural sciences or a related field

2) 2 years experience as an Instructor Therapist or an RBT is an asset

3) Knowledge of ABA and Child Development

4) Outgoing and passionate in working with children who have special needs

5) Exceptional interpersonal skills and written ability

6) Access to a reliable mode of transportation

Those who are hired are required to complete RBT courses within 3 months of starting as well as police check completed within the last year.
