We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home-Based Instructor Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients and their families.

As a Home-Based Instructor Therapist, you will provide individualized therapy services directly in clients' homes. You will work closely with Senior Therapist and Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBA Ont) to implement personalized behavior intervention plans and support clients in achieving their goals. Your role will involve working one-on-one with clients, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families to ensure effective therapy outcomes.
This position is an independent contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy services in clients' homes, following individualized treatment plans developed by the Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A ont).
Implement behavior intervention strategies to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Monitor and record client progress, providing detailed and accurate documentation.
Collaborate with team members to support on behavioral strategies and techniques.
Adapt therapy approaches to fit the home environment and individual client needs.
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in clients' homes.
Qualifications:
Education and training in the field of ABA, IBI, Special Education and/or Child Development
Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disorders is preferred.
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently and adapt to various home environments.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others reach their full potential.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is an asset.
Vulnerable Screening Check (VSC)/police clearance, CPI, CPR.
