The Central Scheduler role will be a remote work from home position.
2 positions are available(Casual and Part Time)
Please note candidates must reside in Alberta or BC

Responsibilities

  • Arranges team member schedules for those who call in and are unable to make their shift due to sickness, family matters or for other legitimate reasons.
  • Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies resulting from unfilled positions, vacations, leave of absence, sick leave, in accordance with company policy or as per a governing collective agreement.
  • Inputs shift changes to schedules that have been made after hours in the Comvida/EMS system.
  • Provides a daily hand over report to Scheduler/HR Assistant at the sites that this position is providing after hours scheduling for.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in a scheduling role.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications is required.
  • Working knowledge of Comvida /EMS.
  • Experience with Scheduling in a Health Care environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in stressful situations and must be able to have creative problem-solving skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of Labour Standards/Employment Standards, and Union contracts an asset.
  • Pleasant but confident telephone manner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general Human Resource functions.
