Job Description


THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2024 Semester for AEC Applied Accounting and Administration (AAA-02) DAYTIME January 1 to June 30, 2024 (9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm).

TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (\xc3\x80 LA LE\xc3\x87ON) (1-2.12)
COURSE: 410-A72-AB
TITLE: Accounting II: managerial and cost accounting
HOURS: 90
SECTION(S): one (1)

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

DISCLAIMER: Courses to be delivered in a Hybrid, online or onsite format.

QUALIFICATIONS
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (410) FINANCE AEC (CFM)

EDUCATION:
Master\'s or equivalent degree in Business Administration (MBA) OR; Master\'s level degree in a related field OR; Bachelor\'s or equivalent degree and a CPA/CA designation AND a current member in good standing of CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant business and industry experience.
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED.
  • Excellent English communication skills required. Bilingual (English/French) candidates PREFERRED.
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
