Overview


We are seeking an experienced CDA to support our join our community focused dental practice located in the heart of Kitsilano. The ideal candidate should share our philosophy in preventive dentistry. Experience in Invisalign and implants is an asset. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, communicating with front desk, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Responsibilities



Will be working alongside a second CDA supporting one dentist out of two ops Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety, efficient in note taking during consultations efficient in offering after appointment care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, utilizing software such as Tracker Efficient in taking photographs and Intra-oral scans Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. support the hygiene team (prophy, flouride treatment and sterilization) manage patient flow efficiently and acting as a liaison between patients and the dental team. Perform basic laboratory tasks, including impressions and fabricating temporary crowns, 3D printing. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the practice, Op room inventory maintenance

Requirements



Certification in Dental Assisting is mandatory Xray certification required Minimum two year Canadian experience Proficiency in dental software systems such as Tracker is necessary. Experience in Invisalign and implant related surgical procedures is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.

Clinic Hours



Monday & Tuesday: 8am - 4pm Wednesday: 11am - 7pm Thursday & Friday :7:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
