Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CCA (Child Care Assistant) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our children ages 18 months-6 years. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are passionate about children. This position is perfect for a University/College Student or someone who is seeking less than full-time hours. It is a term position until 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on a qualified applicant.

Duties

Assist ECE's in implementing our Daily Schedule. Help supervise throughout the day at various areas throughout our Centre e.g Indoor/Outdoor Play, Meal /Snack times, Gym Time and Transitions. Collaborate with team members to enhance the children's experience. Maintain a clean and organized Centre to ensure a welcoming environment for children and families. Help as needed throughout the Centre during your shift.

Requirements

All applicants must have or be able to receive:

- Manitoba CCA Classification.

- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse.

- Valid First Aid and CPR.

Previous experience in Childcare or a related field is preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing the children's needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, no evening or weekends. Shifts could be altered to suit a school schedule.

Pay: $17.64 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 7 per week
