is looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team at Canada Life Centre.




The

Catering Supervisor

will be working with a team to ensure the efficient operation of the Premium Services Department during events at Canada Life Centre.

What to be excited for in this role:



Ensure employees comply with all company policies and procedures. Support training and ongoing support for all employees in Premium Services. Uphold open communication with the Premium Services team, and the kitchen team. Ensure that the department is equipped with proper small wares and non-chargeable items. Build relationships with patrons and Season Ticket Members to exceed service expectations. Ensure management team is informed of issues that arise, and support resolutions. Oversee proper inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, equipment operation, and safety. Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.

What we need from you:



2+ years of supervisory experience in a related field, and premium experience as an asset. Must be available for 60% of all Canada Life Centre and Burton Cummings Theatre events. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and coworkers. Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills. Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism. Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work in a team environment. Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance. Current Smart Choices Certification or willingness to obtain.
