We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Supervisor to oversee and coordinate catering operations within our food service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
Supervise daily catering operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Lead, train, and interview team members to build a cohesive and motivated staff
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during events
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all catering activities
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
Oversee restaurant management functions related to catering services, including serving at events when necessary
Manage hospitality aspects of catering events, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Strong supervisory experience with team management capabilities
Familiarity with restaurant management systems, including Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience in interviewing and hiring restaurant or catering staff
Background in restaurant or hotel management is highly desirable
Barista or beverage service experience is a plus for managing diverse catering needs
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or large-scale events

Must be flexible to work bar/serving shifts on any day (weekends or evenings)

Plus more if extra banquet shifts served or worked on.
