Job Summary:
We have thousands of people to feed over the next 30 days and we need help. That's why we're looking for skilled and adaptable Catering Servers to join our off-site catering team, specializing in corporate events and holiday functions.
You will help provide high-level service to guests in diverse venues, ensuring each event runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires the ability to set up, serve, and break down at various off-site locations, all while maintaining professionalism and a festive atmosphere suited to corporate and Christmas events.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests warmly and establishing a professional, welcoming environment,
Unloading our transport vehicles
Setting up food prep and festive food serving areas
Serving everything from coffee and hot chocolate to pastries to pancakes, berry sauce and whipped cream.
Setting up and re-filling buffet lines,
Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a seamless guest experience even in non-traditional catering environments
Assisting with event breakdown, including packing up equipment, clearing tables, and tidying the venue before departure
Following food safety, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations at all times, especially in varied off-site settings
Handling guest questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism (Of, course , you're never on your own, so you can pass them to someone else when needed!)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in off-site catering or hospitality would be great
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to adapt to different client needs and event types
Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly to the logistics of off-site venues (e.g., limited resources, changing setups)
Strong teamwork skills,
Able to drive our vans is a definite plus
Eagerness to learn what you don't know and improve what you do!
