We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our catering operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Catering Manager, you will oversee all aspects of catering events, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service while managing a team of catering staff.
Duties
Plan and coordinate catering events from start to finish, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service to ensure satisfaction.
Supervise food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Train and mentor catering staff in food handling, service techniques, and guest interaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers within the food industry.
Monitor event execution to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues that arise promptly.
Assist in marketing efforts to promote catering services within the community.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, preferably within the food service or restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest services.
Experience in bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience at catered events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
