About Us:

We cook for hundreds and some times, thousands of servings a day. We need a skilled cook to help maintain our standards of quality, taste and presentation. Cook needs to have good math to know the amount of foods to prepare. TIMING is important to understand the cook time to get the food out of the kitchen and sent in time. Seeking full time cooks to join our ever growing team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure timely preparation and delivery for off-site events.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality meal preparation. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills. Pay: $17.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
