Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service for a variety of events, ensuring that all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards. This role requires a passion for food, creativity in meal preparation, and a commitment to maintaining food safety protocols.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and client requirements. Set up and break down catering events, ensuring all food is served in an appealing manner. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests during events and addressing any dietary needs or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and serving areas throughout the event. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during events. Assist with meal planning and menu development based on client preferences and seasonal ingredients.

Skills

Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving within the food industry. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A creative approach to meal presentation and menu design. Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Kitchen: 3 years (preferred)

Safe Food Handlers Certificate (required) Full G License and over 25 years old for insurance (required)
