We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join a progressive non-profit organization as a Long-Term Care Worker working in our assisted living and long-term care locations in Surrey.

This position requires a BC Care Aid Registry number, and an individual should have a flexible schedule as shifts may be called out at the last minute.

Pay rate:

$25.95/hour

Some benefits have eligibility requirements of surpassing three (3) months and securing a regular position of 20hrs/week or more. The benefits and criteria may change from time to time at the discretion of Strive.


An exciting opportunity exists for the right individual to join our progressive non-profit organization as a casual care aid. The position entails working alongside the LPN's providing care to adults at our Assisted Living and Long-term Care locations in Burnaby and Surrey.



The right candidate should have experience with Behavior Management, Personal Care, as well as a Medication Administration Certificate.

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

Knowledge and experience working with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health and behaviours Ability to create a meaningful routine Knowledgeable of creating independence vs. creating dependence Following health care plans
Completing daily documentation Implementing personal protocols, schedules, and activities Knowledge and experience with community integration and teaching life skills

Job Qualifications Include:

BC Care Aid Registered Number

Medication Administration Certificate from reputable school Criminal Record Check Negative TB test

Training will be provided after hiring for:

First Aid and CPR Mandt Food Safe
