Right at Home Canada is currently looking for casual RPNs to join our team! We are looking for RPN's that can help us with last minute shifts in the Mississauga South and area. This is a great opportunity for some supplemental income! This position requires a RPN that drives and has a reliable vehicle.

Additional skill requirements for our Special Contracts:

experience in a Long Term Care setting an asset Must be comfortable in using technology for charting Strong comprehension and assessment skills Strong written and verbal communication Professional, attention to detail and reliable Valid nursing license with no practice restriction
Regular assignments- potential Responsibilities:

Assists clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skincare, oral hygiene, and toileting Performs task delegations and training as required to unregulated providers to support client care such as: catheter care, suppositories, applying non-sterile dressing and implementing exercise and mobilization routines as per regulatory standards and guidelines Administers medication to clients and provides medication reminders in accordance with established policy and delegation Performs Nursing Assessments as required Observes clients and their environments, and reports unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and/or cognitive changes to supervisor Demonstrates methods and provides basic information to clients in relation to activities of daily living in accordance with pre-established care plans Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as communication books and progress reports Performs other related duties as assigned We look forward to meeting you!
