Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers along a pre-assigned route
Provide passengers with information on schedules and stops
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior and exterior
Complete e-logs and reports
Handle various mobility devices and equipment, including wheelchairs
Understand and be empathetic to the needs of customers, ensuring proper care and attention is provided
Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
Class 1 or Class 2 Commercial Driver's Licence with air brake
Fluent in English
Working on an on-call basis depending on demand, availability during various hours, shifts and days is highly preferable
Minimum of 1 year motor coach experience
Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
Willing to stay in our staff quarter in Airdrie upon request
