Casual Ece Substitute Educator
Job Description
We are seeking compassionate, flexible, and reliable ECE to join our casual/on-call substitute pool. This role offers the opportunity to work in a reflective, multi-approach early learning environment.
: Casual educators will support our the day-to-day operations of our two early learning programs. Responsibilities include assisting with routines, engaging with children through responsive and developmentally appropriate interactions, and collaborating with team members to ensure continuity of care.
Required Qualifications: ECE certificate (minimum), current BC license to practice, valid first aid, experience working in inclusive settings
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the implementation of daily routines and learning experiences
Building warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff
Creating a welcoming and engaging environment for all learners
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom space
Supporting children's development through responsive interactions and observations
Collaborating with educators to ensure consistency in care and program delivery.
We are looking for educators who can confidently step into a varying needs of our two program, and comfortable supporting different age groups and routines as needed, and bring a calm, positive energy to our team- even on short notice.
