Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise during transportation. Adhere to all local, provincial, and federal driving regulations while on the road.

Skills

Valid Ontario G-class driver's license Clean driver's abstract Strong communication skills Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission (preferred but not mandatory) Punctual, reliable, and professional Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
