Job Description
This is a permanent casual position in the Durham region which includes days, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. The rate of pay is $22.53 / hr. We are accepting applications until October 12, 2025
Supporting persons with congruent disorders including suicidal ideations, through community engagement and talk therapy. Must be willing to engage with community agencies including hospital and local police.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements:
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Access to reliable transportation
Preferred:
3-6 Months Experience Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
