Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the food service industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your role will involve managing the bar area efficiently while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Take customer orders accurately, utilizing the POS system for efficient processing. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking their preferences into account, and offering recommendations. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawers. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or similar roles within the food industry is preferred. Must have smart choices or safe serve Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cashiering duties. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
