Join the Team at TacoTaco - Server/Bartender

TacoTaco in Kensington Market is a brand-new fast casual restaurant specializing in California-style tacos and burritos, with vegan and unique options, craft beer, cocktails, and a cozy sun-lit patio. We're looking for energetic and reliable team members to deliver great service and keep the good vibes flowing.

Position: Server/Bartender

As part of our front-of-house team, you will:

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude; Take orders, serve food, and deliver an excellent guest experience; Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (cocktails, beer, wine); Manage tabs, process payments, and handle cash accurately; Keep the bar and service areas clean, stocked, and organized; Address guest questions and concerns promptly and respectfully; Assist with closing duties to ensure the venue is ready for the next service.

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality or bartending/server experience required; Smart Serve certification required (or willingness to obtain before starting); Food Handler's Certificate is an asset; Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic math skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing/walking for long periods; Positive attitude and a team-first mentality.

Job Details:

Must be available Friday and Saturday nights until 3am

(late closing shifts). Hours per week: 12-20 hours Job type: Temporary or permanent Wage: $17.25/hour (depending on experience) + tips averaging ~$10/hour
