Job Description

We are currently recruiting a few Casual Caregivers to assist a female employer in all activities of daily living. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to remain in command and take charge while being gentle and kind.

Location:

Duncan (near Maple Bay Properties)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Permanent/Casual Back Up for 24 hour shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 7 AM to 7 AM

Compensation:

$300.00 per 24 hour shift (probationary)

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Assist with personal care and hygiene Provide sponge baths and showers Assist with meal prep per nutritional plan Assist with toilet routines Provide Peri-care to the the employer Medication Administration Light Housekeeping such as laundry Driving the employer to Appointments if needed

Required Qualifications:

Experience with Dementia DL with Clean Abstract and Own Vehicle for Emergencies (negotiable) Trauma Informed Care Experience or Willingness to Learn Strategies for support de-escalation Good Command of English written and spoken Minimum of one year of caregiving in professional environment Food Safe Required First Aide Required Ability to verbally communicate proper peri-care Non-Smoker of all kinds Willing to provide a holistic approach, employer has a strong emphasis on both natural and wellness
