Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Cashier/Customer Service Representative to provide excellent service and ensure a smooth shopping experience. The ideal candidate is accurate, flexible, detail-oriented, and demonstrates strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, and willing to work as a team.

Duties

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving any issues. Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, processing credit/debit card transactions, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the customer shopping experience. Occasionally assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining store cleanliness. Support each other of the team to ensure smooth operations. Back up CS team to handle customer inquiries effectively.

Skills

Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual (English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese) abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 36 per week
