Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries Operate POS systems efficiently for checkout transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions or new arrivals Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention Ensure accurate cash register operations and handle returns or exchanges professionally Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Keep the checkout area clean and organized throughout the shift Assist in inventory management tasks as needed, including stock replenishment

Skills

Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales processes Knowledge of merchandising principles and product demos to enhance customer engagement Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Sales skills including upselling techniques to maximize store revenue Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $30,292.46-$49,471.34 per year
