We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at Island Pharmacy in Cobble Hill. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to connect with customers and create a welcoming environment will be key to our success.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer experience. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area while ensuring merchandise is well-displayed. Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous. Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for sales and helping customers find the right products for their needs.
