Pita Mania Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and professional individual for the position of

Full-Time Front Counter Clerk

. This is a

permanent

position requiring 30-40hrs hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team

as soon as possible

.

Requirements

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.

Flexibility to work between the hours of 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Saturday is a must.

Excellent phone manners and the ability to multitask. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced yet comfortable environment. This position is not suitable for students. Must have own transportation as there is

no public transit available.

Must have Food Handlers Certification or be willing to obtain within 90 days.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Provide excellent customer service at the front counter. Manage phone orders efficiently. Support team members in daily operations. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions and process payments with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces, service stations, bathrooms, stock rooms etc. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks effectively during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work well under pressure.
