Position Purpose

: To serve and assist customers with a genuine service approach.

Reports to:

Retail Manager & Front-End Supervisors

Responsibilities:

Serving & Assisting Customers promptly and efficiently Running Tills Taking Customer Orders and placing in the order book Answering the Telephones General Cleanup throughout day and end of day Opening Store including unwrapping meat case and preparing retail area Closing Store including wrapping Meat Case, Cleaning Glass, Doors, Floors, and to-do lists and taking out garbage/Cardboard Packaging/Vacuum sealing food products/discounting Freezer Packs/Custom Packs Stocking Store areas designated to Fresh Case Area Filling/Restocking meat case Be familiar with the products, including meat, grocery and produce Be familiar with Hopcott farm history, story and facts about our meat Adhere to food safety, sanitation and company policies Must follow food safety guidelines Greet customers, answer questions, and assist them with their shopping experience Be knowledgeable about the history of the farm and our sustainability practices
