Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic

Cashier

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide friendly, professional service while promoting and selling our products at the point of sale. This role goes beyond simply taking orders -- you will engage with customers, make recommendations, and assist in the kitchen when needed to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide an exceptional guest experience. Take customer orders accurately and process all sales transactions through the POS system. Handle all payment methods (cash, debit, credit, Visa/Mastercard) with accuracy and attention to detail. Actively promote and sell Helvaci Ali's desserts, beverages, and specialty items. Maintain strong product knowledge to answer customer questions and make recommendations. Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks and order assembly when required. Ensure the counter, display, and front area are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Follow all food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures. Support the team during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow.

Qualifications

Previous cashier, cafe, or retail experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, positive, and team-oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and transactions. Basic food handling experience is an asset (training provided).
