Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role involves preparing food items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. A background in culinary arts or experience in the food industry is highly desirable.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including proper food handling practices Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs Process transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell menu items to enhance the customer dining experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and storage

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential Customer service experience is highly valued, with an emphasis on serving and bussing skills

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
