We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time will be essential in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clientele.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring cash handling procedures are followed. Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and technical sales support. Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism, ensuring resolution in a timely manner. Manage phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and addressing customer inquiries effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse customers. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving a wider customer base. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with technology sales, including technical sales knowledge is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
