As a Cashier/Customer Service Associate at our health food restaurant, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, providing excellent service while handling transactions and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping customers make healthy, informed food choices.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations based on dietary preferences (vegan, gluten-free, organic, etc.).
Accurately take and input food/drink orders into the POS system, handling modifications and special requests.
Accurately process cash, credit, and other payment transactions.
Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery to customers.
Address customer concerns politely and escalate to management when needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Basic computer skills.
Interest in health/nutrition is a plus!
