part-time

Cash & Customer Service Associate

Work closely with the front store and pharmacy team to greet and assist customers in store and over the phone while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Accurately complete sales transactions and procedures on the point of sale, handle cash and debit/credit transactions, balance tills, facilitate product returns, complete lottery transactions, prepare customer deliveries, etc. Communicate professionally with customers, healthcare providers, and suppliers. Order, organize and stock products in the pharmacy and front store and participate in regular inventory counts. Maintain excellent cleanliness and organization of the front store, pharmacy, and stockroom. Complete a variety of administrative functions including faxing, filing, scanning documents, etc. Promote and participate in maintaining a healthy, safe and inclusive work environment. Keep up-to-date with product information and promotions. Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as they relate to our various services. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a friendly and professional approach to serving customers. Strong numerical and cash handling skills with a high level of accuracy. Willingness to work well in a team environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced setting. Great time management and organizational skills.

This position requires approximately 8-15 hours per week primarily during the evenings (4-7pm) and weekends (Sat 9am-3pm, Sun 11am-4pm)

. Must be able to stand for extended periods, occasionally lift or move up to 20lbs, occasionally use a ladder or step stool to retrieve merchandise, stock shelves, etc. Must be able to legally work in Canada. Previous experience working in a cash / customer service position is considered an asset.
