Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cash Counter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth transactions and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to handle cash accurately. A background in retail sales or technology sales is preferred, as well as the ability to engage customers through product demonstrations and upselling techniques.

Duties

Process customer transactions efficiently using the POS system. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment with accuracy. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and drive sales. Assist in merchandising efforts to maintain an organized and appealing sales environment. Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and promote products. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated shifts. Maintain a clean and organized cash counter area.

Requirements

Done Cash at a Restaurant or Pub Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus. Experience in retail sales or technology sales preferred. Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Familiarity with merchandising principles and practices. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
