Description:
Detailed Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's future state modern technology platform
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Ensure privacy and security access controls are followed for sensitive personal data in accordance with OPS standards and guidelines
  • Consult on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to address business needs
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to implement and support technology solutions, ensuring smooth integration and functionality
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Provide guidance to the project team and transferring knowledge and skills to the team members
Responsibilities:
Provides subject matter expertise for all relevant systems including configuration, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, system design, optimizing business workflows, testing and training.
Develop business and functional requirements including business reporting and analysis needs.
Create business design documents
General Skills:
Experience in business process analysis (use cases and/or process flows) and mapping (Gap Analysis) techniques
Experience with specified technology including functionality and associated business processes
Experience set up and configuration of specified technology
Experience facilitating fit-gap analysis and prioritization of requirements
Experience creating standardized documentation Experience integrating with other systems
Ability and experience identifying operating inefficiencies, fragmented systems, leveraging out of the box systems and capabilities
Experience in providing technical guidance in requirements analysis techniques, supporting system testing and user acceptance testing, and developing and applying business and requirements analysis strategies
Experience developing test cases, test modules
Experience configurating and testing of modules
Experience with configuration of security roles and updating permissions
Experience working alongside the development team to elicit and explain requirements
Experience identifying new features and functionality related to business requirements and able to provide training and related documentation
Experience designing, testing, and implementing delivered or customized functionality based on business requirements
Experience in estimating project delivery timeframes based on requirements Project coordination/Project Management experience
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
Desirable Skills:
Experience designing, implementing and configuring with specified software suite
Experienced in Joint Application Design/Development (JAD) facilitation

Functional Specialist - Case Management and ERP
Will work as part of a core project team comprised of Children, Youth and Social Service Cluster, and Child Parent Resource Institute to achieve the deliverables of the Electronic Medical Record Project.
Skills and Competencies
Functional Specialist - Case Management and ERP Will be expected to hit the ground running and will use their expertise to help the project achieve a robust and comprehensive modern technology solution.

  • Proven experience as Functional Specialist Case Management collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead and manage modern technology solutions that meet business objectives eg. SaaS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
Technical Competency: (40%)
  • Analyze business needs to help ensure future state meets the customers objectives through business acumen of collecting information, analyze requirements and solve problems, providing technical and operational support
  • Create and evaluate a breakdown of client businesses processes to identify and link functional and non-functional requirements
  • Participate in workshops with clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions for the to be state, and handle gaps detected during prototyping
  • Product design and gap analysis to standard product functionality
  • Work with the technical team to make sure that client needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions
  • Proficient in programming languages and experienced in software development methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and industry standards
  • Solid understanding of database management and SQL queries
  • Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Support data migration activities including integration and security requirements
  • Proficiency with both MS SQL and MySQL databases
  • Proficiency in understanding source data structures (MS SQL and MySQL) and mapping them to the target schema
  • Understanding of database schema, data types, and query optimization
Stakeholder Needs: (10%)
  • Proven ability to communicate and partner effectively and anticipate stakeholder needs and expectations across a multi-sector environment
  • Proven analytical abilities with the ability to propose and contribute to improvement strategies within legislative and policy parameters
