We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpet installation, including the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for installing different types of flooring in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities

Install carpet Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate installation. Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as necessary. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete installations. Apply caulking and other finishing touches to ensure a polished look. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and provide solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as maintenance person services or carpentry. Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.15-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
