This is not a janitorial cleaning position

We are looking for an

EXPERIENCED

individual (minimum 3 years) to be part of our growing team of professional Carpet and Floor Services Technicians. The right individual will be mechanically inclined, love working outdoors, have an ability to troubleshoot, work efficiently on jobs and have a helpful willing attitude. Our warehouse/depot is in Chilliwack, but our service area is the whole Fraser Valley.

JOB DUTIES:

Carpet & Upholstery cleaning Floor cleaning and refinishing Tile & Grout cleaning Post Construction cleaning
You will use portable extractors, truckmount systems, floor scrubbers, and various other commercial equipment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a ServiceMaster Clean technician, you will be expected to:

Represent the Company in a professional way by your attitude, appearance and communication with the customer Perform the services above to an excellent standard with the goal to do it right the first time. Be punctual and reliable in attendance Manage your time well in efficiency and organization Work well with the ServiceMaster team by being an active member.

COMPETENCIES:

Experience in floor/carpet services ( 3years minimum) Light mechanical aptitude and able to troubleshoot Able to work flexible hours and sometime longer shifts Able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to effectively communicate in English with crew and customers Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation

COMPENSATION:

Wage will be determined upon qualifications and experience, with usual start at $23/hour, growing to $29/hour. After a 90-day probationary period, benefits of medical/dental are offered to those eligible (working 30 hours per week or more)
