Project:

Bucholz Army Airfield Repair is a design-bid-build renovation project with phasing to accommodate a fully active runway throughout the entire duration of renovation. Airfield repairs will be completed in one single phase, and airfield operations will continue to function during repairs. Parsons will replace various components of the airfield, including the major runways, taxiways and parking aprons. Additional work includes installing potable and non-potable water line systems, lined water catchment and drainage systems, airfield pavement markings, runway and taxiway lighting systems, electric vault, and an airfield electrical distribution system along with upgrading airfield navigation aids for flight operations. The Carpentry Foreman must be willing to go to Bucholz Army Airfield on a Long-Term Assignment Agreement. This position is not a remote opportunity.

Carpentry Foreman Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of 4-8 carpenters during construction projects
• Oversee construction of framing
• Assign finish carpentry tasks to workers
• Complete finish carpentry tasks as needed
• Complete concrete form work tasks as needed
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as hanging drywall or painting
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Carpentry Foreman Requirements and Qualifications

• Five years of construction experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory position
• Construction and carpentry experience
• Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
• Attention to detaiExperience with blueprint reading, concrete finishing, and managing crews
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current US Passport

Salary Range: $23.27 - $40.72
