Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Carpenters Helper to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks, supporting the successful completion of residential, agricultural and restoration projects. Candidates with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and interest in building trades are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist with carpentry, framing, woodworking, assembly tasks and finish work Support concrete forming tasks as directed Aid in cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and siding projects Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Support plumbing, electrical work, caulking, and painting activities as needed Help with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols at all times during construction activities

Qualifications

More than basic knowledge of construction and carpentry with the willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry or construction trades Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety consciousness Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license is a plus Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
