We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves fabricating, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. The Carpenter will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to project specifications and blueprints.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements.
Install drywall, siding, and other materials as needed for construction projects.
Perform construction painting tasks to finish surfaces as required.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and concrete workers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques.
Knowledge of drywall installation, siding application, electrical basics, and concrete forming is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods while adhering to safety standards.
