Tasks
---------Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Prepare tenders and quotations Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Survey building locations and levels Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Experience
--------------2 years to less than 3 years
Support for newcomers and refugees
--------------------------------------Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
Support for Indigenous people
---------------------------------Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
Supports for visible minorities
