Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial constructions. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, restoring, and maintaining structures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Perform caulking and sealing of joints to ensure durability and weather resistance. Engage in masonry work as needed for various projects. Execute concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures. Lay tiles for flooring or wall applications with precision. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components. Install drywall efficiently while ensuring a smooth finish. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans. Strong skills in carpentry techniques including building frameworks and structures. Knowledge of caulking methods for effective sealing of joints. Experience with masonry work for structural integrity. Ability to perform concrete forming tasks with attention to detail. Competence in tile laying for aesthetic finishes in various settings. Familiarity with drywall installation processes and finishing techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
