Ideal candidates will have strong craftsmanship skills, experience working tools and machinery, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
Construct, assemble, and finish wood products based on plans or shop drawings.
Operate woodworking machines such as table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and sanders.
Measure, cut, and shape materials with accuracy and precision.
Perform quality control checks to ensure final products meet standards and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers or other shop personnel as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter or woodworker in a site setting.
Proficient with woodworking tools, machines, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or cut lists.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
