Job Description
Baydo Pointe in Edmonton is looking for a Carpenter to join our team immediately. Wages will be based off experience.
Skills & Responsibilities:
Carpentry skills in wood framing and interior finishing
Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
Proficient in using hand and power tools specific to carpentry, such as saws, drills, chisels, and levels
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision for accurate measurements and installations
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries
Ability to work independently and work with a team
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Previous work experience as a Construction Carpenter or similar role
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
Must be legal to work in Canada
