SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kindred Construction Ltd. is a leading general contractor with a reputation for excellence in crafting high-quality custom homes and complex construction projects across British Columbia. As we expand into Revelstoke, we're seeking skilled and dedicated Carpenters to join our team for an exciting large-scale custom home build.





We are looking for experienced Carpenters and Carpentry Apprentices to contribute to the successful delivery of a high-end custom home in Revelstoke. This role offers an opportunity to work on a unique, architecturally significant project alongside a skilled team, all while enjoying everything Revelstoke has to offer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry on a large custom home project. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials. Install framing, windows, doors, cabinetry, and other finishing details. Collaborate with site supervisors, trades, and other team members to ensure quality and timelines are met. Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during construction.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Red Seal Carpenter certification or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience, with a focus on custom homes. Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project needs. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
