STARTING WAGE

Starting wage range from $34 - $38 per hour

To qualify for this role,

you will need the following...

MUST HAVES:

Be comfortable with all types of carpentry including but not limited to form work, framing and finishing.

Be a Resident of Canada

Min. 3 to 4 years experience in construction industry

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials Ability to

read and interpret drawings, and specifications

Follow site safety regulations and quality standards Familiarity with BC Building Code Valid Driver's License and own a reliable vehicle Sound judgement with the ability to take direction and work without supervision Own steel toed boots/shoes

NICE TO HAVE:

Red Seal Carpentry Certificate is an asset Highly motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment and independently without constant supervision Local BC experience with home renovations and new build projects Your own tools is an asset Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Maintain a clean and organized work area Familiar with Procore Provide training and guidance to apprentice carpenters as needed Position is ideally suited for someone aspiring to be a Site Supervisor / Site Lead or Lead Carpenter role

PROJECT SITES

Our job sites are typically across the Lower Mainland (ex: Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Richmond, West Vancouver).

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

This is a permanent, full-time position with TQ Construction. Your typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Reports to Site Supervisor.
